		<description>I read an article recently about the amount of energy used and emissions and heat pumped out by data centres around the world. I wonder which is worse. Companies with individual servers and back-up devices in localised installations, requiring staff to travel back and forth and use up resources. Or everything in giant data centres with a skeleton staff and economies of scale.</description>
